Great guy, great book

I had the fortunate opportunity to take three classes with John. He is a wonderful teacher and that really comes across in this book. Even three years later, I use this book on a weekly basis.

After reading this post, I feel very fortunate to have picked up this book at a bookstore in Seattle. It's taught me countless things about type's use and history. A great read and highly recommended.
