'An ideal introductory text that not only covers the history and context of the field, but also looks at current trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques. This book is beautifully designed, right up to date, and highly recommended!'
C. Thomas Mitchell, Ph.D., Indiana University, Bloomington
'In example after example, the authors reveal how delightfully demanding the field is and that great results come, much like in athletics, from hard work in the tangible physical world where an adaptive mind can let inspiration happen.'
Larry Leifer
'I only wish my education as a designer had been informed by such a comprehensive, informative and well illustrated volume as Product Design. Paul Rogers and Alex Milton introduce a complex topic by explaining what designers do, how they do it and what they should be thinking about. Whether you are considering design as a career, studying design, or already practising it you should buy and study this book.'
Tim Brown, IDEO
