Win lots of cool stuff at Urban Makers East

Posted on May 23, 2017 by Laurence King Publishing

We’ve teamed up with Urban Makers East to take part in their wonderful Summer Market. Housed in Mile End's stunning Ecology Pavilion, the market will feature over 80 exciting designer makers, along with a series of workshops, and plenty of food and drink to keep you going….

35% off books and gifts, free Tatouage, and photo competition
Along with selling a selection of Laurence King books, games and stationery at 35% off, we’ll be running a free tattoo booth for adults to spread the pretty imagery of Tatouage Blossom and Tatouage Wild across East London.

Pose for a photo with your tat in front of our Tatouage Wall and share on social media with either #TatouageWild or #TatouageBlossom to  be in with a chance to win a free set of both books.

Free Tattoo Time, Mini Makers Area and superhero treasure hunt
There’ll also be lots on for kids – in addition to our special mini tattoo booth to decorate little ones with Tattoo Time Monsters and Tattoo Time Animals, we’ll be stocking the Mini Makers area with supplies to colour-in and make your own comic books!

Last but not least, bring your children dressed as superheroes to take part in an exciting Superhero Treasure Hunt! The mission is to gain the powers needed to become a real superhero by collecting all 5 Rainbow Power Sticks from the grassy area around the Ecology Pavilion. Once you’ve collected all the powers, bring them back to the Laurence King stand to receive your free Super Book for Superheroes activity book prize!

The hunts will take place at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm on both days. Sign up at the Laurence King stand beforehand and meet us with your children on the grassy area above the entrance to the Ecology Pavilion 5 mins before the hunt starts. We ask that you accompany your children during the hunt, especially if they are below 8 years old.
