30 Cards to Keep You Looking UP

Marcel George and Gavin Pretor-Pinney

Pause and look up at the skies. There is ever-changing beauty to behold in the cloudscape. Learn the difference between common cloud types (do you know your cirrostratus from your cumulonimbus?) and find out which is most likely to herald the arrival of the rains or approaching fair weather. You can also use the cards to set yourself a mindful new challenge to break through the constant noise of our busy modern world: how long can you spend with your head in the clouds today?

Gavin Pretor-Pinney is founder of the Cloud Appreciation Society, which has over 54,000 members in 120 countries. He is the author of the internationally bestselling Cloudspotter’s Guide and Cloud Collector’s Handbook as well as A Cloud A Day.
