PLACING AN ORDER/ABOUT MY ORDER

Q: How long does delivery take?

A: Delivery time will vary based on your location. Within the UK we aim to deliver within 3-5 working days. For European delivery this can take up to 21 days, and for global destinations please allow up to 28 days for delivery. If you are ordering multiple products they may arrive in separate packages. If you have any queries on the shipping status of your order, please contact hukdcustomerservice@hachette.co.uk

Q: Why don’t you deliver to my country?

A: Due to rights reasons each product may have its own geographic restrictions on where we can sell and these will be shown on the product page. Apologies for any disappointment if we’re unable to ship a specific book or product to your country.

Q: Does the price cover all import costs for international customers?

A: International customers may be liable for additional import or customs fees, depending on the laws and regulations in your country. These will be payable directly by you upon receipt of the items.

Q: Can I edit my order once placed?

A: Orders placed are processed at regular points during the day. This means that where a product is in stock, it is likely that it has already been picked and packed before we would be able to change any part of the order.

Where your order is for a pre-order, changing the order should be possible up to a week prior to publication date. Please contact hukdcustomerservice@hachette.co.uk if you’d like to do so. We often send pre-orders out before publication date so you receive your order on the day it becomes available.

Q: I want to return my order.

A: Please contact our customer services team via email: hukdcustomerservice@hachette.co.uk

Please note if it is your choice to return the product, you must cover the return postage including sufficient insurance to cover any loss or damage caused by the shipping. If the product is returned and found to be damaged, we may reduce the amount of refund.

Q: I am a retailer and want to order your books/gifts.

If you are in the UK, a selection of our products can be purchased via our Faire store. Sign up at https://www.faire.com/direct/hachetteukltd and receive 50% off your first order, up to £150, and 1 year of free shipping.

You can also sign up to,PubEasy, to place orders. This is free to Hachette Distribution (HUKD) account holders. DAMAGED/FAULTY PRODUCTS

Q: My order has arrived and is damaged or faulty

A: We are very sorry to hear that. Our manufacturing and warehouse teams take great care when producing and packing our gifts and books. Please contact hukdcustomerservice@hachette.co.uk with full details of the issue, including photos if possible, and we can put things right.

Q: My jigsaw puzzle is missing a piece. Who can I contact about getting a replacement?

A: We’re sorry to hear that your puzzle is missing a piece. Unfortunately we are unable to send individual replacement pieces. If you have purchased your jigsaw from our website, please contact hukdcustomerservice@hachette.co.uk to let us know about the issue. If you did not purchase your jigsaw puzzle from us, please contact your place of purchase.

For any press or event queries please email publicity.enquiries@orionbooks.co.uk in the first instance, and they will be able to redirect you to the best contact to help.

Q: Can I work for Laurence King Publishing?

We are a very small team but are part of the Orion Publishing Group, a division of Hachette UK, and any vacancies in our team will be advertised on the Hachette website. Keep an eye on our social media too, as we will usually mention any job opportunities on there as well.

Q: I have a question about rights/permissions for one of your books or products

If you would like to enquire about the rights to publish one of our titles in a different territory, language or format, or for any film/TV-related queries,  please email rights.enquiries@orionbooks.co.uk

Q: I have purchased one of your titles and the book states there are free downloads and extras on your website. Where do I find them?

A: Please go to our website, search for your product and head to the 'Resources' tab. If the materials you require are missing, please contact marketing@laurenceking.com with your enquiry.

Q: I’m a professor and would like to review one of your textbooks with a view to recommending it to my students.

A: We’d be happy to send you a copy, please complete the inspection copy request form here or email inspectioncopies@laurenceking.com.

Q: Do you offer gift vouchers? 

A: Unfortunately we are unable to offer gift vouchers for our store.
